A new community choir in Horfield will be hosting its debut concerts this Christmas.

The Ebe community choir launched in September and already boasts 45 members.

They will be performing their first concerts at Ebenezer Evangelical Church, 286 Filton Avenue, at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 10 and Saturday, December 12.

The concerts will be held to raise money for two charities – the Crisis Centre ministries, which works with homeless people in the city, and One25, an organisation for vulnerable women, drug addicts and prostitutes. They hope to raise £1,000.

Tickets for the concerts are on sale at £3 for adults, £2 concessions, available from Ebenezer Church office on 0117 9791399.
