Choir on song at Cabot Circus
The Bristol Cabot Choir entertained shoppers with a selection of carols, as a warm up to their concert in Bristol Cathedral.
The choir, conducted by Ben England, pictured, performed carols and Christmas music on the balcony in front of House of Fraser on Saturday.

Choir spokesman Ian Beattie said people stopped to applaud and two women even asked if they could join up.
He said: "The acoustics were fantastic so we really enjoyed it.
"We were the first choir to have performed in that space – it would be a great concert venue."
The choir performs Carmina Burana at a charity concert at Bristol Cathedral on December 22, at 7.30pm.

“When will the managers of retail outlets understand that people come to their outlets to spend money not to be sung at.
I had ther misfortune of having to visit Broadmead last Saturday and almost immediately was confronted by a uniformed "soldier" of the Salvation Army shaking a collection in my face. Needless to say, she was sent on her way with a flea in her ear.
Shopping is a bad enough chore without having other things forced on you. If people want to be sung at, then they should go to a concert.”

“Another House of Fraser story. The choir should have learnt the black sabbath classic Paranoid”
