Yate Town 1 Chippenham Town 3: Chippenham Town proved too strong for a Yate Town side who now need to win at least five games to avoid relegation from the Southern League Premier Division.

Chippenham dominated the opening half and took an early lead through Sean Seavill, with Marcus Palmer adding a second goal in the 22nd minute.

Yate came more into the game in the second half and eventually pulled a goal back after 80 minutes when a Dean Griffiths shot hit the crossbar and Joe White followed up to score from close range.

In the 88th minute, Chippenham goalkeeper Chris Snoddy made a fine save to deny substitute Jake Reid an equaliser.

With Yate throwing players forward in search of an equaliser, Chippenham added a third goal in the final minute of the game through Dave Pratt.
