Child injured in Bristol fire
Three children were taken to hospital after a fire at their Bristol home started when a candle was knocked over.
The children, aged one, two and three, had already got out of the house with their parents in Ernestville Road, Fishponds, by the time fire crews arrived at about 11pm on Wednesday.
Two were suffering from smoke inhalation and one had burns on their foot.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire on the first floor of the house.

“Candles and young children do not mix.
I blame the parents.”
