Chief exec helps out at Bristol school
Pupils at the new £36-million Bridge Learning Campus in Hartcliffe had their lunches served by the head of a major Government agency.
Tim Byles, chief executive of Partnerships for Schools, worked as a "slave for a day" at the campus, which has nursery, primary, secondary, college and adult students.
His efforts were part of a drive to raise money for PfS's new charity, the Transformation Trust.
Mr Byles donned a builder's helmet while he put up plasterboard before joining dinner ladies.
Mr Byles said: "I enjoyed rolling up my sleeves and getting stuck into the variety of tasks lined up for me."
