Charity buys new wheelchair for Bradley Stoke boy
An 11-year-old disabled boy from Bradley Stoke is celebrating after being given an electric wheelchair.
Sam Terry, a Year Seven pupil at Brimsham Green School in Yate, only had a manual chair, which had to be pushed.

Sam's parents, Raynou and Steven, contacted the Variety Club Children's Charity South West, and they used a donation made last year by three local businesses to help Sam.
Sam, who has cerebral palsy, a physical condition that affects movement as a result of an injury to the brain, said: "I have been really excited about getting this new chair.
"It will make a big difference to me because now I can get around school on my own.
"I would like to say a big thank-you to everyone who helped me get it."
The £4,600 needed to pay for the wheelchair came from John Lane at Gas World Ltd, based in St Anne's Park, Jeff Way from Jeff Way Electronics, based in Bedminster, and Nick Mace, from Gloucester-based Prodec South West.
Jeff, 56, from Whitchurch, said the three businesses work closely together.
He said: "I decided it was the right thing to do and our three businesses decided to work together to pay for the wheelchair.
"It is nice to have made such a difference.
"We are happy to contribute to such a great cause."
The Variety Club Children's Charity South West chairman, Derek Cleverdon, 72, from Longwell Green, said: "It is good to see Sam now fully mobile. The wheelchair has given him independence."
