Changing manager is costly and risky
IN REFERENCE to the letter "Time must be up for the manager" by James Young (The Post, December 14 2012), What would be the point of a new manager now?
After City announced a £14 million loss this year and the club are £40 million in debt, can we afford it?
You would have to pay off the manager and mostly all the backroom staff that came in, then go out and find a new manager who most likely has been sacked from his last job, making sure the right person is picked to take City forward. Then he would have his own backroom staff and players he wants in. There is no guarantee that he could change things around.
I say stick with McInnes and see what happens in the January window. There are things that have been going on in the background with our academy and some youngsters are coming through. McInnes and his staff are determined to get things right and we should back them as supporters.
