New parking restrictions are set to be introduced in St Paul's, Bristol.

As part of the changes proposed, restrictions will be introduced in parts of Beggarswell Close, Brighton Street, Brigstocke Road, Burnell Drive, Grosvenor Road, Little Bishop Street, Prince's Street and Wilder Street.

A new loading bay will be introduced in Wilder Street and new "keep clear" markings will be painted outside the pedestrian entrances to St Paul's Day Nursery in Little Bishop Street and Prince's Street.

Bristol City Council says the changes have been proposed to improve safety for people attending the nursery and to keep corners and narrow sections of road clear of obstructive vehicles.

Jon Rogers, councillor in charge of transport at Bristol City Council, said: "The changes should improve safety around the nursery, reduce obstructions and help local businesses."
