Championship rugby team London Welsh docked 10 points
London Welsh will start the 2009-10 season in the Championship following a successful takeover by Red Dragon Rugby Ltd – but they have been docked five points for going into administration.
The Exiles – who will be Bristol Rugby's first opponents of the 2009-10 league season at the Memorial Stadium on September 6 – had faced extinction after announcing they were looking for new owners to invest an additional £1.5 million per year.

Red Dragon Rugby's acquisition of the club was completed over the weekend and the Rugby Football Union have now given the takeover their seal of approval.
Among their demands, the RFU had stipulated any new investor must have enough funds to support the club for at least two years.
