Champions Yate Town do it again
YateTown clinched their second successive County Youth League title with a 4-0 win over Thornbury Town.
They opened the scoring early in the game and struck again midway through the first half when Thornbury keeper James Lewis was injured as he collided with a post in trying to keep the ball out.
Thornbury threatened the Yate goal in the early stages of the second half but Yate extended their lead with two more goals to clinch the championship.
Thornbury bounced back to beat Cheltenham Saracens 3-1 three days later with goals from Matt Weeks and Michael James (2).
Wotton Rovers' hopes of finishing second were dealt a blow by a crushing 4-0 defeat at home to Forest Green Rovers, who also harbour hopes of finishing second.
Bottom club Longwell Green Sports drew 2-2 with Winterbourne United. Dave Herbert and Jensen Mannings netted for Winterbourne with Ashley Baker and Sam Baker on target for Longwell.
