Families celebrated the opening of three new facilities at the Withywood Centre with a fun day in the sunshine.

When the community building was completed a couple of years ago, a piece of open land was left just flattened. Now it boasts a community courtyard, a memorial garden and a children's play area after a project was carried out by CSV Environment.

The fun day drew a big crowd and featured a barbecue, bouncy castle, face painting and karaoke sessions.
