Cemetery chapel will host election debate
A RESTORED chapel at Arnos Vale Cemetery has been chosen as the venue for the next hustings event organised by The Post to quiz the mayoral candidates.
The cemetery is the resting place of 12 mayors and four Lord Mayors and therefore a particularly appropriate venue. One of the mayors from the 19th century lies in the crypt of the Victorian Anglican Chapel where the meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 31 from 1pm to 2pm.
It will be chaired by Post editor Mike Norton who wants to engage as many Bristolians as possible with the election.
Anyone can attend the debate but in order to give us an idea of numbers, we would prefer those doing so to let us know in advance.
