Catch how to cook fish a Spanish way
A ST Andrews woman has teamed up with her local fishmongers to offer fish cookery courses with a Spanish twist.
Dolores Onna, originally from Catalonia in Northern Spain, is providing evenings or afternoons of Spanish cooking using produce from The Fish Shop in Gloucester Road.

Mrs Onna, who lives in St Andrews with her husband, visits her students in their own home and cooks and teaches traditional Spanish recipes.
The 42-year-old, who is a part-time teacher, said she was inspired by her upbringing.
"I grew up living with parents and grandparents," she said.
"My grandfather was a fisherman and from a young age I spent hours in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother, watching and learning the traditional ways of Catalonian cooking.
"Back then the men went out and got the money and the women stayed in the kitchen for hours, preparing food – it's just the way it was I guess. Cooking was never taught formally, it was more osmosis – a case of watching, listening, chopping, smelling and tasting.
"For me food has to be slow to be enjoyed properly."
Max Gwyther, fishmonger at The Fish Shop, said: "Dolores offers some amazing fish and seafood recipes that are really different and very tasty. It's like you are joining a secret Catalonian cooking society and being entrusted with family secrets."
Gemma Myers, who lives in Gloucester Road, has already attended on of her courses.
She said: "She showed us how to make a stew of chicken and king prawns seasoned with almonds and garlic and chocolate. 'Yummy' doesn't really do it justice."
Places cost £30 per person. To book visit The Fish Shop at 143 Gloucester Road, text Max the Fishmonger on 07883 464181, or e-mail shop@glosroadfish.co.uk.
