Catch the budding superstars
MEMBERS of the cast of a new version of Jesus Christ Superstar put on their costumes to distribute flyers to Saturday shoppers.
Bristol Amateur Operatic Society is bringing the musical up to date with reality TV and paparazzi featuring in the show, which opens in the Victoria Rooms on April 5.

It will run for five nights, as well as a Saturday matinee, with a cast of about 40, ranging from teenagers to pensioners.
But although the costumes might be different to those in the original Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice production, favourite songs such as I Don't Know How To Love Him, Herod's Song and Superstar are still included.
Choreographer Lizzy Westney said: "Until about five or six years ago we always did the classic shows such as Oklahoma! and Carousel but then decided to do some different things."
The society is always looking to recruit more members, especially men, to appear on stage. To see the show, email boxoffice@baosbristol.co.uk or call 0117 962 2588.
