Does a Bristol softball tournament get your vote?
The Baseball Softball UK are holding a competition for the best slowpitch Tournaments of the year.
If you attended a tournament in 2009 that you wish to vote as the best, please carry on reading.
What makes a great co-ed slowpitch tournament?
Is it the pitches? The level of competition? The scheduling? The food? The clubhouse (if there is one)? The cleanliness and availability of loos and changing rooms? The Saturday night party? The efficiency and friendliness of the organisers? A fee that you consider value for money?
What makes you come away from a tournament with a warm glow of satisfaction and the feeling that you want to go back next year?
Well, the British Softball Federation has decided to find out which tournaments rank highest as far as teams and players are concerned, and it will add two Tournament of the Year awards to the other prizes given out at the AGM each year: one award for one-day tournaments and another for two-day tournaments.
The BSF is planning to give out the first Tournament of the Year awards at the 2010 AGM on February 27 in Manchester -- but to do so, it needs YOU to vote for the tournaments that you consider should be the winners.
How to Vote
Here's how to vote for your favourite tournaments:
1) Send your vote by email to BSF Tournaments Officer Liz Graham. Your vote must be submitted no later than Sunday, December 20.
2) You can vote for your favourite one-day tournaments, two-day tournaments or both.
3) You can vote for up to three tournaments in each category (one-day or two-day), but you must put the tournaments in rank order in each category and you must say (in 100 words or less) why you have voted for each tournament.
