St Paul's Carnival is coming!
Carnival fever came to Broadmead when shoppers were entertained with music and dancing.
The event was a warm-up for St Paul's Carnival, which takes place on Saturday.
Schoolchildren, samba groups, a steel band and African drumming helped to turn the shopping centre into a sea of colour in the link-up between carnival organisers and the Broadmead management.
Peninah Achieng, of the carnival team, said: "In this global financial crisis it has been a blessing to get financial support from Broadmead.
"This kind of relationship involving the arts and business is something every carnival wishes for."
The carnival is in its 42nd year and is supported by more than 65,000 visitors.
