Care provider's new office opened by MP
A COMPANY which provides care for people in their homes had its new Plymouth office officially opened by MP Gary Streeter.
The Tory MP for South West Devon officiated at the launch of Bluebird Care's base in Plympton.
He also attended a forum on "care in the community" at which representatives from Age UK Plymouth, the Alzheimer's Society, the Stroke Association, A4e, Devon County Council, WRVS and Devon Senior Voice, discussed how older people, and people with disabilities, can maintain independence.
Alexander Allan, director of Bluebird Care, said: "It was a great opportunity for us to tell Gary what we see as the key issues that impact on lives here in the South Hams and Plymouth.
