Take Care campaign to reduce motorcycle accidents
A WIDOW from Burnham-on- Sea who lost her husband in a motorbike crash has backed a new police campaign to reduce collisions on Somerset's roads.
Daryll Bartlett, 39, was killed in a motorcycle collision in October 2004 less than half a mile from his home in the resort.
He was riding to work and took a corner too quickly and at the same time a van pulled out of a drive and did not see him coming.
Now five years on, his wife Heather, 36, is supporting Operation Take Care, launched by Avon and Somerset Police this week to reduce serious motorcycle collisions.
