'Cardboard city' to celebrate charity's birthday
BRISTOL charity Children's Scrapstore is celebrating its 30th birthday on October 6.
To celebrate, they are asking all local children to help them build a "cardboard city" representing where children like to play.
There will be prizes to be won and lots of fun to be had on the day.
They need as many children as possible to build a model and make it a reality.

Children can make a waterproof model out of any materials they have to hand either on the day at Children's Scrapstore, or before-hand.
The model should represent their favourite places to play such as a bedroom, house, tree, den, park, garden, street, the zoo or their school. On October 6, all the models will be put together in the Children's Scrapstore car park to create the city.
There are prizes for the top three most creative models – a family day at St Werburgh's City Farm, a family workshop with Circomedia and tickets to The Egg Theatre in Bath.
Children's Scrapstore will open its doors to everyone on Saturday, September 22, and Saturday, September 29, for children to get materials.
