ANDREW JONES

Occupation: Owns a florist

Nickname: Joner or Gaffer.

Came in about five years ago and has built a fantastic squad for the budget he has had. Works tirelessly for the club and looks after the lads wherever possible.

PAUL MILSOM

Nickname: Squarehead.

Joined at the start of the season to assist the gaffer and has done really well. Occasionally comes on as a forward or a defender and has probably played for every non-league club going. Spent four years as a pro in the 1990s.

KYLE PHILLIPS

Age: 20 Occupation: Works for the gaffer Nickname: Smallville.

Very good goalkeeper who is improving with every game. He has done well for us this season.

STUART TOVEY

Age: 23 Occupation: Plasterer

Nickname: Doesn't have one.

A really good right-back. Good strong tackler with a fantastic engine. His dad Steve is the record appearance holder here. A little bit thick, I hope he won't mind me saying.

ROB COUSINS

Age: 38 Occupation: Mortgage advisor Nickname: Trigger.

Played at every level of the non-league game and for the England amateur side – and has made sure everybody knows about it. Vastly experienced centre-back who is not bad on the ball at all.

CHRIS LANE

Age: 25 Occupation: Works for the gaffer Nickname: Laner or Ginger.

Powerful left-winger with bags of pace.

JOSH JEFFRIES

Age: 26 Occupation: Not quite sure – resident Del Boy. Nickname: Bobby Charlton.

In his second spell with the club. We call him Bobby Charlton, not because of his footballing ability, more to do with the comb-over he is trying to cultivate.

ROB CLARIDGE

Age: 27 Occupation: Works for the gaffer Nickname: Luggage.

Very experienced centre forward who has scored a lot of goals. Not the quickest but good in the air.

OLLIE PRICE

Age: 27 Occupation: Something to do with cleaning water Nickname: Beaky.

Good solid centre-half – excellent in the air and not bad on the ball for a defender.

ALEX BALL

Age: 28 Occupation: Bristol City academy coach Nickname: Bally.

Always turns up on time with sparkling boots, perfect kit and a bagful of the right supplements. Versatile and technical player.

COURTNEY REDWOOD

Age: 20 Occupation: Works for one of the club's sponsors Nickname: Redders.

Reserve goalkeeper who has never let anyone down when called upon.

CHARLIE RICH

Age: 22 Occupation: Kitchen fitter Nickname: Charlie.

Left-back with nine England Under-18 caps. Gets up and down the line well.

BEN LACEY

Age: 18 Occupation: Retail Nickname: None yet.

Right-sided midfielder with pace and strength. A youth product, who never turns up for training and spends a lot of time on the treatment table.

NEIKELL PLUMMER

Age: 18 Occupation: Professional footballer Nickname: Emile.

Strong forward who is on loan from Bristol Rovers. He is starting to score a few goals after a bit of a dry spell.

JAMES TYRRELL

Age: 18 Occupation: Professional footballer Nickname: Squirrel.

Also on loan from Bristol Rovers. A good left-footed central defender who has been a consistent performer.

JOSH HEMMINGS

Age: 19 Occupation: Electrician Nickname: None.

Midfielder who has done well for the reserve team and been in a few first-team squads.

PHILIP WATERS

Age: 22 Occupation: Student Nickname: None.

Recently acquired midfielder who was on Southampton's books until he suffered a knee injury.

DAN CLEVERLEY

Age: 26 Occupation: Car mechanic Nickname: Clevs

I have been here so long, I think I am the only player that Joner has not signed. I used to play up front but have now dropped into the midfield.

When he's not treating the players, which seems to be most days, he can be found working on some of our ageing supporters.

COLIN PARSONS (KIT MAN)

A Paulton legend, Colin has worked tirelessly for the club for many years in many different capacities. His sense of humour ensures the players not only turn out in the right kit, but in the correct frame of mind too.
