Cancer charity drinks pink
BRISTOL: Four pubs in Bristol are taking part in a Drink Pink campaign, which runs until June 14, to raise money for the charity Against Breast Cancer.
Local pub company Ember Inns has launched the campaign, which involves challenging men to try a number of pink drinks while wearing something pink.
For every drink that is sold 5p goes to the charity. Bristol is aiming to raise £50,000.
Pubs in Bristol taking part are the White Lion on Passage Road, Beaufort Arms in Stoke Gifford , The Sandringham on Quakers Road and Three Brooks in Bradley Stoke.
Against Breast Cancer funds research into breast cancer to increase survival after diagnosis and ultimately discover a vaccine.

Telltale turbine
CHEW MAGNA: A windturbine has been installed at Chew Valley School.
Head teacher Mark Mallett said: "It has become both a physical and metaphorical landmark for the school. Visitors always comment on it. But much more important is what it symbolises for our young people – that our resources are finite and the environment is in jeopardy. Chew Valley pupils are learning how important it is that we reduce our carbon footprint."
A screen shows the electricity generated at the present time, since installation, school electricity use and CO2 savings.
