BRISTOL & AVON LEAGUE: Carmel United took over top spot from De Veys, who were on cup duty, with a 9-1 home romp against Golden Hill Reserves.

Cameron Ricketts and substitute Rino Costa led the scoring spree with a hat-trick, while Rafael Burke (2) and Eddie Ekial completed the rout.

Paul Williams fired a four-goal salvo for Long Ashton Reserves, who crushed Greyfriars B 11-0.

Luke Hacker weighed in with a hat-trick, with Dan Cole (2), Richard Pring and Jamie Fisher also on target.

Results: Carmel 9 Golden Hill 1, Greyfriars Ath 0 Long Ashton 11.
