Kyle Tooze hit a hat-trick for Cadbury Heath as they clinched a dramatic 4-3 victory over Gala Wilton.

Gloucestershire Under-18s starlet Tooze was in imperious form in front of goal and was joined on the scoresheet by Christian Lee as Heath closed the gap on leaders Yate Town.

Gala's goals came from Josh Holford, Dan Avent and Kieran Hempstead.

Shirehampton staged a magnificent fightback to draw 4-4 at home against Forest Green Rovers.

Shire took the lead after 25 minutes thanks to Ben McKenna's strike. Ashley Morris equalised for Forest Green on the half-hour mark, only for Dan Griffiths to restore Shire's lead before Eddie Jones struck from the penalty spot for Forest Green to make it 2-2.

Rovers edged in front for the first time just before the end of the half with Morris' second goal of the game, and it looked all over for the home side when Callum Henry made it 4-2 in the 60th minute.

But battling Shire refused to throw in the towel and launched a thrilling comeback. Joe Holt pulled one back with 20 minutes left and new signing Kyle Buffery struck the equaliser three minutes left from time.

Cheltenham Saracens, who overcame Wotton Rovers with a solitary extra-time goal, and holders Forest Green Rovers, who pipped Yate Town 2-1 in the other semi-final tie, will meet in the League Cup final on Sunday, April 5.

It was third time lucky for Rovers over a Yate side who had twice beaten them at home in recent weeks. Ollie Slade scored Town's consolation goal.
