NOW THE CHOICE IS YOURS
AS a direct result of the 100 apprenticeships in 100 days campaign, the City of Bristol College has more than 50 employers waiting to hire apprentices.
The employers are looking to recruit in a variety of sectors, including:
1. Service Engineering
Are you a people person? This is an opportunity to put your skills into practice and become a qualified service engineer in the process.
Initially based within a warehouse, you will learn how to prepare, install, maintain and set up equipment such as photocopiers and faxes.
If you are adaptable, committed, enthusiastic and motivated, this could be the career choice for you.
2. Financial Advisor/Paraplanner
The City of Bristol College has companies looking to recruit individuals with serious ambition.
Initially learning about business administration, the roles will evolve to include dealing with clients and suppliers.
If you are open, honest and caring, with excellent communication skills and a desire to succeed, this could be the job for you.
3. Apprentice Chefs
Are you fanatical about food? Passionate about pies? We have businesses looking to recruit passionate individuals to help prepare basic dishes, starters, main courses and desserts.
If you are committed, enthusiastic and want to work as part of a close team, this could be your first step towards a career in the food industry.
4. Office Administration
We have businesses who are now looking to recruit apprentice office administrators to ensure the smooth running of their organisation, where no two days are the same.
If you are energetic and hard-working this could be the career for you.
5. Electromechanical Engineering
Would you like to put a spark into your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for apprentices to be mentored and trained in all aspects of electrical assembly.
This will include wiring and building electrical products.
We are looking for people who like to work as part of a close team and who have excellent communication skills.
6. Apprentice Contact Centre Agent
Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service?
We have well-established businesses now looking to recruit a number of contact centre agent apprentices.
Responsibilities include offering high standards of customer service, relationship management and working towards a set of targets.
If you are a positive, professional and enthusiastic individual, contact the apprenticeship team for further details.
