Busy commuter route in Tickenham closed after accident
A BUSY commuter route in Tickenham was closed for nearly three hours this morning after an accident.
The accident, involving a Peugeot and an Audi, happened at Clevedon Road at 7.20am.
A woman was trapped in one of the vehicles and had to be removed by fire crews.
She suffered leg injuries and was taken by ambulance to hospital.

The road – a busy route with commuters into Bristol - was closed to allow the vehicles and debris to be removed and re-opened at 9.50am.
The accident caused major traffic congestion in the area.
