Business brains bottle it up
STUDENTS at Winterbourne International Academy have set up a company to design and create a children's book.
The enterprising Year 11 team are working on the project as part of their business studies but it will also raise money for the charity Help for Heroes.

They have called their company Academy Concepts and are working with a school in India, SAI International in Bhubaneswar, so it can be printed and sold in India as well as in the UK.
More than 20 pupils aged 15 and 16 are running the company and working within separate departments, such as finance, marketing and human resources, in order to develop an understanding of how an international business operates.
Gemma Pullen, head of business at the school, said the book was written in English and was a moral story centred on recycling
It tells how a bottle put into the wrong recycling bin leads to two children going on an adventure to retrieve it so it can be recycled.
