Police are investigating two burglaries at nursing homes in Burnham-on-Sea and Brent Knoll.

The BUPA Nursing and Residential Centre in Oxford Street, Burnham, and a second nursing home in Brent Knoll were broken into on May 11.

Both were targeted in the early hours of the morning and a safe and handbag were stolen during each incident.

Police believe both incidents are connected and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
