Burglar foiled after tracking software in stolen iPad led police to his location

Hi,

i am writing this article as my wife and i were the victims to which this article was written, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all the polcemen and women involved in the capture of this criminal. The Policeman who arrived as a result of our call to report our burglary was absolutely fantastic, we told him we had an ipad stolen and he quickly logged in to my apple account and began to track my ipad live on his iphone, he then located my ipad and delivered another police unit to the criminal who i hope was rugby tackled fairly rigorously and arrested him. Due to the quick thinking of this officer we now have all our possessions returned to us and another criminal is back where he belongs. Obviously being burgled whilst you are at home is a fairly harrowing experience but we will sleep a lot sounder knowing that we have people like this from the avon and somerset constabulary looking after us.

So a big thank you to the officer who attended our call and a big thank you to the 2 officers that had to work a 20 hour shift to gather all the evidence you have all been fantastic.

 p.s if anyone from apple is reading this i think these officers deserve a free ipad dont they???!
