VISITING restrictions have been put in place at Bristol hospitals following an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug norovirus.

Three wards have been closed to new patients at Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) as a result of the sickness bug. Visiting times have been restricted to just one hour a day at the BRI Queen's Building, King Edward Building and Old Building and Bristol Heart Institute due to norovirus. Only two people can now visit each bed between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
