Brother's tribute to a 'happy and bright boy'
The brother of a 13-year-old boy who was knocked down and killed on his way to school has paid tribute to the "happy and bright" teenager.
Elliot Davies suffered severe head injuries after the Citroen Saxo skidded onto the verge where he was waiting for his school bus on the B3151 close to his home in Mudgley, near Wedmore, on Wednesday.

The youngster, who was a Year 9 pupil at Kings of Wessex School in Cheddar, was airlifted to hospital but died a few hours later.
Elliot's elder brother Liam Davies, also a student at the school, posted a touching tribute on the social networking website Facebook.
He said: "Elliot was my brother. I never thought that I'd be seeing his death. I had always assumed that we would just grow old. Never thought that one of us would die first.
"He was always happy and bright, with a slight twist of darkness I think. We're completely gutted, as expected, and now just waiting for the few answers that we can get.
"I bloody loved that child and I'm really very honoured to be able to call him my brother, living or not."
An investigation in to the accident, which happened at 8am on Wednesday, is under way and police said freezing conditions played a part in the tragedy. The driver of the car, which was heading towards Glastonbury, was not injured.
A police spokesman said: "No arrests have been made in relation to this incident."
A spokesman for Kings of Wessex School said: "He was a lovely boy, who was kind, friendly and polite.
"He was well respected by his peers, and staff alike. Elliot will be greatly missed by everyone at the Kings of Wessex School."
Dozens of youngsters have now joined an online memorial group for the teenager.
In one tribute, Emily Hancock said: "Elliot was my little brother's best friend, and he was such a bubbly character."
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call police on 08454 567000.

“My heart goes out to this lads family, a tragic loss at any age but all the worse for one so young. I hope you all find the strength to get through this together.
**A little respect and restraint for this lads story please. **”
