Avon Youth League Under-12s: Bottom side Bromley Heath Under-12s produced a stirring team performance to knock Brislington off the top of Division II.

They opened the scoring when James Malby latched on to a through ball and coolly slotted home after outpacing the Brislington defence.

Soon afterwards, Bromley scored again, Matt Weymouth chipping the keeper from close range as the visitors' defence failed to clear their lines.

Bromley continued to push on in the second half and scored two more times through Greg Ward and James Malby before Brislington pulled one back near the end. Man-of-the-match Connor Cairaschi and Sam Skuse, at the heart of the defence, were excellent for Heath, together with midfielders Weymouth and Joe O'Connor.

Coalpit Heath needed an own goal five minutes into the second half to kick-start them before sweeping to a 4-0 Division II win over Deerswood.

A fine individual break and stunning long-range strike from Jack Gallagher gave Heath the two-goal cushion their enterprising play deserved, before Chris Cooke added a third with a raking shot from wide on the right which caught the keeper off his line.

The goal of the game came when some neat midfield passing ended with Jack Gallagher, who was lurking on the edge of the box, feinting left and committing the keeper before stroking the ball right-footed into the unguarded net.

This was Heath's fifth win in six matches as they continued their impressive climb up the table.

A George Ufumwen double and a goal apiece from Kieran Baldie and star player Rashaun Keeling-Graham inspired FDS Bristol to a 4-2 away victory over Longwell Green Sports in another Division B fixture.

Sports replied through Toby Clifton and Stuart Harmer.

Charlie Bakos scored twice as Avon defeated Stoke Lane 3-0 in a hard-fought Division I clash.

Ollie Campball ran on to a great Jack Osbourne pass to fire his side in front.

Stoke Lane battled back but Avon's defence stood firm and they went further ahead when a shot from Daniel Rugman was pushed away by the visiting keeper and Bakos ran in to finish from close range. A superb pass from man-of-the-match James Widdicks led to Bakos running through to notch his second goal on his return to the side after a long injury lay-off.

Bristol United B had to settle for a 2-2 draw in an entertaining Division V clash with Ingleside despite twice taking the lead through Josh Kay and George Brooks-Matthews.

Promotion-chasing Rockleaze Rangers were made to work hard for a 4-2 victory at Ashton Boys B in the same section.

On target for the visitors were Jai Jethwa (2), Sonny Williams and man-of-the-match Cam Scott, who also made some important tackles and distributed the ball well.

Jack Boreham and Finlay Wilks worked well in the centre of defence for Rockleaze, while Alex Pestell tracked back industriously in midfield.

Josh Small's goal was not enough to prevent Southmead CS tumbling to a 2-1 defeat against Bishopston United.

Persistent work by Rhys Gibbs down the left side led to Small poking the ball home from inside the six-yard boc to cancel out an early Bishopton goal.

Southmead keeper Ricki Pierce's heroics kept the scores level, while newly-appointed captain Kyle Brown put in a top-notch performance and saved his team on a number of occasions. But, with the last kick of the game, Bishopston took advantage of hesitancy in their opponents' defence to force home their winner.
