Broadwalk kept the pressure on Division I leaders Oldland Abbotonians with a 4-2 win over Mangotsfield.

The victory puts them level on points with Oldland, although they have played an extra game.

Mangotsfield started with a depleted side but came out of the blocks quickly with a well-worked goal scored by Jordon Pocock.

Broadwalk worked their way back into the game with an equaliser before half-time and scored again straight from the kick-off in the second half, an excellent shot catching the Mangotsfield keeper cold. United hit back to level but Broadwalk struck twice more to settle the outcome.

In Division A, Cheddar Albion overcame Frampton 2-1 in a game which saw Frampon finish with 10 men.

Both sides struggled to string many passes together on the bumpy surface in the first half, but on the stroke of half-time Marc Marais finished off a good Frampton move, slotting his shot comfortably past Albion keeper Alex Smith.

Cheddar started the second half in determined mood but play continued to be scrappy and a number of clumsy challenges made life difficult for the referee.

Frampton were reduced to 10 men when Matthew Hayman was sent off for a reckless off-the-ball kick at Albion's Tom Coles.

Frampton shrugged off the setback and seemed to strengthen their hold on the game. But Albion came on strong in the closing stages and, after having two goals disallowed, makeshift centre-forward Cameron Crook made a nuisance of himself in the box and outmuscled his marker to slot in the equaliser from the angle of the six-yard box.

Cheddar then brought on some fresh legs in an effort to find a winner. Ryan Bishop and Alex Mott injected some impetus in the home side and Albion got their reward with three minutes remaining.

After the Frampton keeper had grabbed and then lost the ball, Tom Knight touched it on for Matt Day to tap in his seventh goal of the season to clinch a vital victory.

Charfield beat Olveston United 3-1 in the Gloucestershire Division.

Olveston started slowly and it was no surprise when Shaun Bath scored from close range for Charfield on the half-hour.

Charfield could have easily gone 2-0 up shortly afterwards when a free-kick from just outside the box slammed against the crossbar with the keeper well beaten.

The Olveston defence repelled most of what Charfield threw at them until Tom Leahey extended their advantage shortly before half-time. Olveston began the second half brightly and started to regain the confidence that in recent weeks has been lacking. Phil Williams grabbed a goal back when he finished neatly, but although Olveston pressed for an equaliser Ali Warren sealed Charfield's victory with their third goal.

Roman Glass and Made For Ever will face each other in the final of the League Plate Final after winning their semi-finals.

Roman Glass scraped through 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out after a 2-2 drw against Ashton Boys, while Made For Ever overcame Shirehampton 5-2. The final will take place on April 19 at Brislington.
