Broadwalk are battered by Coalpit Heath's hot-shots
Coalpit Heath B Under-13s put on a superb team performance to overpower Broadwalk 10-1 in a one-sided Division III clash.
Conor Heal gave them a flying start with a left-foot volley and further goals from Harley Nethercott and Hayden Watkins, with a thumping header, put them 3-0 up at half-time.
Broadwalk scored early in the second half, which only forced Heath into an even more forceful response. With man-of-the-match Max Bressington and Sam Giles solid in defence, Brad Simons scored twice, as did Nathan Scrivens, who struck his first goals for the club.
Another two superb strikes from Ashton Coleman, plus a trademark cracker from the edge of the box by Heal, gave Heath a resounding win.
Avon Athletic clinched their first Division I points of the season with a smashing all-round performance and 4-0 victory at Bitton.
With man-of-the-match Jake Gorwell laying the foundations with a great display at the back, Avon took the lead when Daniel Rugman scored with a header from a superb Shane Goodman cross.
Rugman went on to net a second, James Widdicks added a third and an own goal wrapped up the victory.
Longwell Green Sports pulled off the shock of the day in Division II with a 3-0 home win against Brislington.
They led 1-0 at half-time, Toby Watson providing a great ball into the box for Josh Langdon to slot in.
New signing Patrick Delaney scored his first goal for his new club from a Daniel Nash corner and Langdon made sure of all three points with his second of the game.
Brislington twice hit the crossbar, while Longwell keeper Jacob Derisz pulled off a fingertip save to ensure his team kept their first clean sheet of the season.
In Division V, James Batt finished with an eight-goal haul for Southmead CS, who rattled up a 15-2 victory over an Ingleside team who refused to allow their heads to drop.
Seven of the goals were scored in the first half, while the remaining eight came against the wind in the second period.
Jimi Trump, Andrew Chidgey, Cory Harrison, Connor Trump and Callum Malpas were among Southmead's other scorers, while keeper Sam Wilmot enjoyed another good game.
Ingleside kept going and their resilience was rewarded with two goals.
● Bitton put a dull first 20 minutes behind them to overcome Ashton Boys 3-0 in Under-12 Division I.
The game came alive when Jak Griffiths's pass was controlled by Callum Wright, who coolly lobbed home the opening goal.
That inspired Bitton to drive on for more goals and they started to play some attractive football.
A spirited Ashton team, led by their tireless captain Frasier Devlin, battled well but could not stop their opponents scoring twice more, through Jordan Cribb, from another pinpoint Griffiths pass, and Griffiths himself, with a 20-yard free-kick.
Bristol City JSC hit back from a 1-0 deficit to beat Avon Athletic 3-1 in the same section.
Avon took the lead midway through the first half but City quickly responded with a fantastic long-range shot from Callum Townsend.
George Kellow headed home a perfect corner from Josh Roberts to put them in front and they made it 3-1 late on when Jordan Scadding crossed for Kellow to skip past two defenders and fire home.
It took a fine goal from Warmley Rangers' man-of-the-match Jay Vile on seven minutes to put them on the way to a 5-0 win over Stoke Lane.
Warmley, playing with a confidence which belied their bottom-of-the-table position, produced some slick passing football to score a further four times in a 10-minute spell and complete a morale-boosting win.
The players on target were Daniel Crouch (2), Callum Carter and Theo Miller.
Yate Rangers romped to a 6-1 win against Division II high-fliers Whitchurch A.
Yate had made a few changes after an indifferent start to the season and they began well with Kai Dawson, Matty Iles and Zak Chabanthom dominating midfield.
Dan Burton gave them the lead, firing home a rebound after the Whitchurch keeper had saved his initial shot.
Whitchurch hit back quickly to make it 1-1 through Robbie Dixon, but Yate didn't let their heads drop and a good ball from Jamie Constable found Harry Wren with room to finish coolly.
Burton scored again before half-time to give Yate breathing space, before their star man Joe Wood struck with a looping free-kick. Callum Martin fired the fifth from the penalty spot after Liam Drew had been upended, and Burton did likewise from 12 yards after being felled inside the box as Yate completed a deserved win.
Charlie Millard hit a double hat-trick as Oldland Abbotonians came out on top of an 11-goal Division III derby clash with Longwell Green Sports.
The goal avalanche started in the fourth minute when Harry Saunders' supplied a brilliant cross which the unmarked James Denyer poked home at the far post.
Ellis Gill quickly equalised for Longwell but on the quarter-hour mark Rob Bool's searching ball found Millard, whose right-foot finish restored Oldland's advantage.
Denyer made it 3-1 when he lobbed the keeper, while the game's best goal came when Millard broke down the left and smashed the ball into the top corner of the net.
Oldland got a fifth before half-time when Saunders' defence-splitting pass found Millard in space to complete his hat-trick.
After the break, Millard got a fourth during a goalmouth scramble, following good work from Matthew Leat, before Longwell's Nathan Dunkerley pulled two quick goals back to put the home team under pressure at 6-3.
Oldland made the game safe when star man Millard scored his fifth and sixth goals, both of them set up by Bool.
Bristol Rovers JSC twice took the lead before being pegged back in their 2-2 Division IV home draw with Avon Athletic.
Rovers took the lead with a well-taken goal from Brandon Tyler after seven minutes, only for Connor Toutt to equalise for Avon just before half-time.
Rovers reclaimed the lead with striker Aaron Criddle scoring from close range, but Avon weren't finished and Raafea Mohamed held his nerve to drive home a fine penalty five minutes from time to earn his side a share of the spoils.
