Britton's got talent
Warwick Arms AC members put together their best total weight since the club was formed during a Sunday match fished on Campbell Lake at Viaduct Fishery, Somerton.
The top four anglers all hit the 100lb mark and heading the scoresheet was Rich Britton with his best ever result.
He fished a pellet waggler with an 8mm bait at distance off corner peg 110 and weighed-in 189-8-0 of carp in the 3-8lb class.
The runner-up was Chris Gay, who started the match fishing the same bait as the winner at 14 metres off 129 before switching to his six-metre pole line with paste to tempt 152-5-0 of carp to 7lb.
Colin Ellaway headed the silverfish list with a superb 55-6-0 of mostly tench taken from the lakeside margins of 116 with chopped worm and maggot.
