Britain's Got Talent dog will be able to join T4 on the Beach
THE dancing dog that won Britain's Got Talent would appear to have been granted special dispensation to appear in this summer's T4 on the Beach in Weston-super-Mare.
As reported in the Post last week Pudsey was named as one of the headline acts of this year's event.

But it is a particularly special honour because all dogs are banned from that section of the beach during the summer months.
It is not clear whether Pudsey is getting official council dispensation from North Somerset Council to break the ban, or whether the six-year-old hound will be in danger of being picked up by the council's dog wardens, with owner and fellow star dancer and dog trainer Ashleigh Butler facing a possible fine. Dogs have been banned from the central section of the beach at Weston-super-Mare during the summer months for years, and five years ago a council plan to ban dogs from the whole beach all year round was eventually rejected after a U-turn in the face of opposition from dog walkers.

One of the councillors who found himself banned from voting against that ban in 2007 because he was a dog walker himself, joked that Pudsey might have to watch out.
"I am wondering whether I should call an emergency meeting and get every single North Somerset councillor to attend to discuss this," joked John Crockford-Hawley.
"Presumably someone will be there to make sure Pudsey doesn't do what dogs sometimes do on beaches, which is why they are normally banned in the summer."
Legal and non-canine acts already confirmed include The Wanted, Marina and the Diamonds, Wretch 32, X Factor winners Little Mix, Dappy, Labrinth, Rizzle Kicks, Tulisa and Conor Maynard.
