Bristol women reclaim the night
More than 100 people gathered in College Green on Friday night as part of a call to make streets safer for women.
The mostly female crowd was taking part in a Reclaim the Night event to highlight violence against women on the streets.

Their three-stage protest started with a candle-lit vigil outside the Council House before the campaigners marched through the city to the Trinity Centre in Easton.
The protest was organised by Bristol Feminist Network as part of a rally against the messages that came out of the recent spate of attacks on women in the Clifton area.
The advice was for women to avoid walking alone at night and to keep to well-lit areas.
But members of the group believe that the freedom of women should not be prevented by such acts of violence.
Sian Norris, 24, of Montpelier, who is a member of the network and attended the march, said: "I think this is an issue that is important for Bristol. It is not just about physical violence against women but an atmosphere in which women feel fear."
Bristol Feminist member Eve Blair, 24, of Redland, said: "Victims should not be asked to change their behaviour, perpetrators should, and the streets should be safe for everybody."
Amy Auton-Smith, 33, is the chairwoman of the Bristol group of Amnesty International, who have also been fighting violence against women.
She said: "Women are not responsible for violence against them."
