A campaign is under way to get every voter in Bristol registered on the 2010 electoral roll.

The deadline for your registration is November 27.

If you are not registered, then you will not be able to vote in next year's general election.

Last year, efforts by the city council to ensure every voter in the city was registered led to a 92 per cent success rate.

This was an improvement on the previous year's figure of 86 per cent.

For the first time since the 1980s, Bristol now has more than 300,000 registered electors on the electoral role.

In total, some 303,000 people in the city can vote in the local, general and European elections.
