Bristol traffic: Monks Park Avenue closed after woman hit by car
Monks Park Avenue in Horfield is currently closed both ways after a woman was hit by a car this afternoon. (6.15pm)
The incident happened at about 3pm, and the woman - believed to be in her late teens - was taken to Frenchay Hospital with a head injury.

The road closure is causing slow traffic between Filton Road and Southmead Road.
UPDATE 6.30PM: The road has now been re-opened.
