Bristol teenager suffers broken leg in hit and run

A TEENAGER from Bristol had his leg broken in a hit and run outside the train station in Gloucester.

The 18-year-old was crossing Bruton Way at around 11pm yesterday when he was struck by what is described as a silver car, possibly a Vauxhall Corsa.

He was taken to Cheltenham General Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car did not stop at the scene and police are urging the motorist or anyone else who witnessed the collision to come forward.
