Bristol teenager dragged into car and interrogated
A Bristol man who helped interrogate a teenager over a stolen motorbike has been jailed for a year.
Dane Chard, from Patchway, was one of four men in a Volkswagen Passat who drove up to the 17-year-old boy, assaulted him and took him on an hour-long drive as they interrogated him about a stolen motorbike, Bristol Crown Court heard.

The lad, who was told he may have his legs broken, was later dumped with a black eye, swollen nose and shoe print on his head.
Chard, 21, of Pretoria Road, pleaded guilty to false imprisonment and theft in April.
The Recorder of Bristol Judge Tom Crowther QC told him the offences were so serious that nothing other than a custodial term was justified.
Ruth Armstrong, prosecuting, told the court the teenager was walking in Rodway Road when the men pulled up, punched him to the ground and kicked him.
She said: "They pulled him into their car by his hooded top and drove him around for around an hour. They threatened further damage to him, in that they would break his legs.
"They thought he knew something about the theft of a motorcycle."
The court heard that the teenager had his mobile phone taken from him before he was ejected from the car.
Miss Armstrong said that after the incident two men with "blood on their knuckles" visited a Bristol family, searched their property for a motorcycle, but found nothing.
Police tried to arrest Chard three days later but he ran off, leaving a blood-splattered white shirt for police to find.
When he was finally picked up he gave a false name and said "no comment" to questions when interviewed.
Matthew Comer, defending, said his client accepted prison was inevitable. He said: "He doesn't recall a great deal. He was intoxicated at the time, on alcohol and cocaine."
Mr Comer said the youth did not suffer significant injuries, but conceded it was an extremely unpleasant incident.
He told the court Chard had attended a special school and was working to address literacy issues with the aim of getting work.
