COUNCILLOR Gary Hopkins proposes a £1 (no doubt due to rise yearly) parking charge for Ashton Court.

He states Bristol council tax payers pay for the upkeep of the mansion and grounds and he would like others to help bear the cost.

A great idea, providing all Bristol council tax payers be exempt from said proposed parking charge.
