Former Bristol student Matt Lucas reveals why he loves America
FORMER University of Bristol student Matt Lucas has said how he likes living in America because he is less famous Stateside.
Lucas, who studied drama in the Faculty of Arts at the university, between 1993 and 1995 made the revelations in an interview with The Sun.

He said: “I don’t have that desire to be better known than I am,”.
“I’m grateful for what I have already been able to achieve and have no ambition to be a massive star.”

Lucas shares his time between London and Los Angeles which he says is a much less hectic life.
“I’m a little bit famous in the States, but compared to when I’m in London it’s a much quieter life.
“It’s nice because I can go to the local supermarket - which is very expensive - and get into an argument about apples without worrying that it’s going to be in the paper.”
