The Broadmead branch of cosmetics chain Lush has launched a campaign to support the enforcement of the fox-hunting ban.

The store front has been emblazoned with the words The Hunts Are Still At It and customers are being encouraged to sign postcards to Chief Constable Colin Port asking him to make the enforcement of the Hunting Act a priority.

Yesterday Lush shop assistants, wearing homemade fox ears and tails, talked to customers about hunting continuing despite the ban.

The chain, which has joined forces with the Hunt Saboteurs Association for the campaign, has created a limited edition bubble bath bar called Fabulous Mrs Fox.

“To C Ladw, it might seem childish to you but the Hunt Sabs that I have come across are a scruffy untidy and threatening group who enjoy abusing children (verbally) and will damage or harm other people and vehicles, they have been known to spary antimate in Hounds eyes and throw marbles on the ground so horses will slip over, they are more millitant than animal lovers and it is disgraceful that a chain of retail shops are funding such activities.”

“Suggesting that hunt sabs don't wash is a childish and pointless comment. Hunting is illegal and barbaric and I am disgusted that anyone can consider fox hunting to be a sport. And Portman 'the point of this' is to educate people that illegal hunting continues to take place despite the ban. I am very proud to support this campaign.”

“It's rather funny really a chain of shops selling a particular soap who donate money to a group who do not use the product (soap that is), in fact I wish they would as they might smell a lot better than they do now, keep hunting.”

“Why would a normal sane person support fox hunting?

You and your vile ilk appall me Portman.”

“What on earth is the point in this? There will a change of government in the first half of next year and the ban will be overturned soon afterwards, and so it should.”
