Bristol is set for a soaking this weekend, even after gales die down.

Winds gusting up to 65mph were due to hit the Bristol area today along with heavy rain showers. The strongest winds were forecast to die down by tonight but Helen Rossington, from MeteoGroup, said the rain was due to continue into tomorrow, with a week of wet weather to follow.
