Bristol school football team win cup for first time in 60 years
A Bristol school football team has lifted its first trophy in 60 years – after seeing a photo of the last team to win it.
Christ Church C of E Primary in Hanham beat Cadbury Heath Primary 4-0 in the South Gloucestershire Small Schools Cup.

The youngsters, who are 10 and 11 and are in Years 5 and 6, haven't lost a match all season, but narrowly missed out on victory in the league on goal difference to Beacon Rise.
They were determined to make amends in their cup final and had the photo of the 1949 cup-winning side in mind to spur them on.
Head teacher Simon Botten said: "We had a chap, David Bateman, come into the school a couple of months ago out of the blue and said he had found a photo of his old football team.
"He was 10 when he was in it, and wanted to know the names of some of the other people in the photo.
"It occurred to me that it was the last team we had that won a football trophy, which was a long time ago.
"The boys knew about the photo before the cup final and were disappointed that they didn't get the league. They wanted to win and didn't want to let the anniversary slip by without a bit of their own silverware tucked away."
Christ Church started the Small Schools Cup Final superbly, with right midfielder William Brant, 11, scoring twice in the first two minutes. Cadbury Heath settled down, and the rest of the first half was scoreless.
But midway through the second half 10-year-old striker Callum Fudgeal broke the deadlock with the third goal, and William followed up with the fourth soon after to complete his hat-trick.
Mr Botten said: "The boys are absolutely over the moon. They played with such good spirit, were really fair, and played as a single unit, not with just a lone striker charging off on his own.
"That was the way the coaches, dads Patrick Williams and Richard Nutland, drummed into them.
"Mr Williams is a coach with Bristol Rovers' junior team, but his wife said that even though he has a high-powered football role, he was feeling physically sick before the match from the pressure."
Mr Bateman, who is now 69 and lives in Kingswood, was delighted to hear of the team's success.
He said: "It is brilliant they have won the trophy, and it is about time they started winning things again. When I was at the school we had a pretty good team back then.
"We used to play in lots of five-a-side tournaments, but that is the only trophy I can remember winning, and it had the date on the ball.
"I remember the photo being taken, and then my sister took it and put it in her photo scrapbook.
"She gave it to me a little while back, and I thought the school would be interested in putting it on their website.
"I remember a lot about the school and I remember all the teachers, but there were a few names of my teammates I had forgotten, so maybe if it is put on the website someone will come forward."

“It's good to see the head teacher getting down with the kids. Innit, though? The boys are absolutely over the moon, but they would have been as sick as parrots if they had lost, for sure. At the end of the day they probably gave 110% in a game of two halves, despite the other team being stronger on paper, y'know. Oh, it's a funny old game.
Jolly well done... er, I'm mean cool.”
