Bristol runaway neighbours found by police
The father-of-two from Bristol and his 15-year-old neighbour who ran off together have been found in Cornwall.
Jack Saxton, 22, from Bradley Stoke, has been arrested by police on suspicion of kidnap while Alyx Leighton, who celebrated her 15th birthday just three weeks ago, has been returned to her home in Jordan Walk.
The couple disappeared on Friday, June 26, sparking a nationwide police search.
It was initially thought the pair had gone to Scotland after Alyx printed out a travel plan to Glasgow on her family computer.
Police then concentrated the search in the Devon and Cornwall area and the teenager and Saxton were found near Falmouth.
Alyx has now been reunited with her mother.
Mr Saxton's fiancee Helen Channelle last week criticised the pair's "selfish" actions.
Office manager Miss Channelle, 26, and Mr Saxton have two sons and have lived together for five years.
Miss Channelle said he had been a "brilliant father who loves his kids and doted on them".
But she said what he had done was stupid and had devastated three families.
Alyx disappeared after promising her mother she would return home by 9.30pm.
Painter and decorator Mr Saxton had arranged to pick up his sons Nicholas, two, and Dylan, 18 months, from nursery the same afternoon but didn't show up.
Instead he sent his fiancee a text reading "sorry".
He is now being questioned by police and faces possible charges.
