Dionne Vincent in the ring
Ms Vincent, 26, stars in On The Ropes, a "mockumentary" style film described as Spinal Tap meets Rocky. The comedy follows the fortunes of a boxing gym and its rival martial arts centre.
On The Ropes was released last autumn, but Ms Vincent, who is also the creator of entertainment agency Icis, was unable to attend the premiere. Instead she will celebrate the film's release to DVD by visiting as many HMV stores in Bristol as she can to conduct her own mini premieres.

She said: "I was so disappointed to miss the film's premiere but I will make my own mini party outside HMVs across Bristol complete with red carpet, photographers and signing sessions. I just want to shout to everyone to say: 'look, I actually have a DVD released'."
As well as her own business, the mother of one is a hairdresser, model, ring girl and grid girl, but says acting is her first love and hopes the film will lead to fame.
"I love acting and that is what I want to do. I think it comes quite naturally to me because I was an only child growing up and I was always the centre of attention."
"I don't know if it will be my big break. It is a substantial role but I am not the leading character. I hope it is the start of something and I have got more projects in the pipeline for bigger roles."
Ms Vincent is a "proud Bristol girl born and bred" and was allowed to fly the flag for her home city even though the film was set in Peterborough.
"Mark Noyce, the director, said he found my accent quite comical. I don't know if he was taking the mickey but I was proud to keep it," she said.
Dionne's character is Shaznee Kraft, the wife of the central character Keith Kraft, played by director and creator Mark Noyce. Her husband is having an affair with a student behind Shaznee's back and Dionee describes her as a loveable boxing Wag that deserves sympathy. "Shaznee loves the status of being with Keith but is a bit ditzy. I hope the audience feels sorry for her.
"I loved filming it. I think the whole set loved doing it. It was hard to keep a straight face during filming because it was so funny. We are taking the mickey out of people that really do take what they do extremely seriously."
Also starring is ex-professional boxer and Mike Tyson training partner, Joe Egan. Tyson once described him as "the toughest white person I know".
