A collection of vintage cars owned by a former Colston Boys pupil has been sold for more than half a million pounds.

The 28 vehicles were owned by Barry Graham Burnett, a Wrington industrial estate owner who died from cancer last year.

The auction was held at Bonhams at the Beaulieu museum in Hampshire on Saturday.

One car alone, a 1932 Delage D8 'Faux Cabriolet' Coupe, sold for £112,600, and altogether the collection sold for £529,040.
