Bristol posties miss out in TV talent show final
A GROUP of Bristol postal workers have lost the final of a TV reality competition for workplace choirs.
The staff from Royal Mail staff based at the Kingswood and Filton sorting offices made the final three of BBC2's The Choir: Sing While You Work.
But in the sing-off, screened tonight, they lost out to a rival choir from water company Severn Trent.
The posties were selected for the choir in a series of auditions and trained for months under the guidance of choirmaster Gareth Malone, whose previous TV project saw him take a group of military wives to the Christmas number one slot in the singles charts.
