Police in Bristol are appealing for a man who helped a woman in distress to contact them.

He spoke to the woman and put her into a taxi outside the Novotel in Victoria Street just before 4am on Sunday, October 18. He is asked to contact Bristol CID on 0845 456 7000 or 0800 555 11.
